Renewals
Setting UP an Appointment
  1. Contact the Ashland Police Department, 1-508-881-1212, press "0" at prompt and find out when Officer Foster or Officer Araujo are scheduled to work next. Do not leave a voicemail.
  2. Call during either of their shifts and ask to speak with them to set up an appointment to complete the application process.
What to Bring to Your Appointment
  1. Have your License to Carry Application completed.
  2. Have your $100 check or money order with you made out to "The Town of Ashland."  You may also pay by Credit Card there is a service fee added.
  3. Have your driver's license and old / current FID / LTC.
New Applicants
Before Setting Up an Appointment
  1. You must have completed and passed a certified firearms safety course.
  2. For a License to Carry, you must have two letters of reference. You cannot be related to these references.

All applications must be dropped off in person to either Officer Foster or Officer Araujo. Do not leave the applications at the front counter.
